Our Projects.
We know that real change happens when we confront challenges holistically. That’s why Community InfoSource has developed focused initiatives to address the complex, intersecting barriers faced by people seeking asylum and refugees. Our work centres on three core projects, each addressing critical and urgent needs with hands-on support and compassionate advocacy.
Challenging Violence against Women (VAW)
Every woman deserves to feel safe, respected, and free. Our Challenging Violence Against Women project addresses a pressing need within asylum-seeking and refugee communities by focusing on the diverse forms of abuse women and girls can face.
Asylum Seeker Housing Project (ASH)
Securing adequate and safe housing is a fundamental issue for people seeking asylum in the UK. The Home Office’s housing arrangements can leave people seeking asylum vulnerable, but through ASH, we ensure that no one has to face these struggles alone.
Mental Health & Wellbeing Support
Mental and emotional wellbeing is key to empowerment. Life in a new country, often after a traumatic journey, comes with immense pressures. We provide vital support to help minimise isolation and foster community connections.
